 account manager

The Account Manager is an outgoing professional responsible for business development, client retention and business development planning and research initiatives.  This individual is responsible for promoting and educating current and potential retailers as well as on and off-premise customers in our distribution region. This position is integral to our operations and in achieving our mission of Lion Bridge beer being a catalyst to conversation and community.  Performs duties that comply with distributor contracts, Iowa ABD laws and regulations, as well as Lion Bridge policies and procedures.

Essential Duties:  Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.

  • Collaborate with Owners to develop best practices on sales generation of Lion Bridge Brewery products including forecasting/planning, new product development, product modifications and terminations

  • Lead weekly sales meetings

  • Research and evaluate customer needs/requirements and develop LBBC product offerings to meet those needs

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding LBBC beer styles, new beers and beer pairings  

  • Develop and deliver sales and educational presentations for LBBC staff, wholesale customers and/or distributer sales teams on a quarterly basis or as required

  • Coordinate with Distributor sales teams to place orders, forecast orders and communicate with brew team to understand the production schedule and any limitations

  • Manage the sales generation in distribution regions (Doll and Fleck) and in any self-distribution regions including major accounts

  • Network and build rapport with new and existing clients to gain insight and feedback regarding the quality of our products and procures referrals

  • Represent LBBC at all festivals and promotional events as required. Appropriately manage setup tear down and operation of festival/Lion Bridge promotional event

  • Successfully overcome objections

  • Utilize and maintain Google Doc (or comparable method) by recording activities, opportunities and communications with clients and prospects

  • Tracks and records data within other systems as required for Owners

  • Meet/exceed high sales quarterly and annual goals

  • Acts as a resource to other team members

  • Support and promote all company policies and procedures

  • Work toward continuous professional improvement

  • Stay current with changing technology

  • Uphold a positive, team oriented attitude

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

LINE/PREP COOK

Position Description
Lion Bridge is looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to the chef’s specifications and to set up stations for menu. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction, achieving our mission of preparing food that is catalyst to conversation and community.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, cutting/tendering meat, preparing sauces)

  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

  • Answer, report and follow chef’s instructions

  • Inform chef immediately of inventory shortages to avoid running out of menu items

  • Clean up stations and equipment

  • Stock inventory appropriately

  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion

  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards and following established food production procedures. The cook is responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste and fraud.

Requirements

  • Proven cooking experience

SERVER/ BEERTENDER

Position Description

Lion Bridge is looking for a professional server to serve patrons by guiding them through food and beverage selections; presenting ordered choices and maintaining the brewery ambiance. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction, achieving our mission of serving beer and food that is catalyst to conversation and community.

Responsibilities

- Adheres to opening shift checklist, end of shift checklist and close out checklist depending when server is scheduled.

- Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.

- Helps patrons select food, beers and beverages by presenting menu; offering new beers; suggesting food options and specials; explaining the chefs specialties; identifying appropriate beers for new patrons; answering food preparation questions.

- Communicates orders to bar and kitchen by always recording patrons; choices; identifying patrons special dietary needs and special requests.

- Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.

- Serves orders by picking up and delivering patrons choices from bar and kitchen; delivering
accompaniments and condiments as requested.

- Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process.

- Maintains tables in a neat manner by removing empty glassware and plates as completed;
replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs. Wipes
tables.

- Concludes dining experience by thanking customers and inviting patrons to return.

- Obtains revenues by totaling charges; issuing bills; accepting payments delivering bill, returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons.

- Contributes to team effort and engages with the team in a constructive manner.

- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers at all times, complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards and following food-handling procedures.
